Life
Teen is a dynamic youth program designed to lead teens into a deeper
relationship with Jesus Christ. It includes exciting youth nights,
involving teens in the liturgy (youth mass), praise and worship music
and adoration as well as social (fun) nights and issue nights on
subjects that are relevant to teens and the struggles that they deal
with. Life Teen is centered on drawing teens to the Eucharist and to a
deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through actively living the
sacramental life of the Church. At St. Rose, our goal in Life Teen is
to empower teens to be passionate followers of Christ and to be “Proud
to Be Catholic”.
The
Edge (Grades 6-8)

Nights 6:00PM-7:30PM in the Gym
The Edge
is basically the Jr. High version of life teen. The edge shares all the
same goals of Life Teen but is designed for middle school aged youth.
At St. Rose, the Edge program is famous for its bizarre games and hands
on activities.

(Thomas More’s Teens)
Wednesday nights 7:00PM-8:30PM in the Lois Kennedy Room
Standing
up for what is right is not always easy to do, especially for a Catholic
teenager in today’s world. Thomas More’s Teens is a group open to
grades 9-12. This group provides a setting for those teens who wish to
go “deeper” into areas of their faith than what Life Teen provides. Our
goal is to give teens tools and instruction to help them when they are
faced with difficult situations and decisions. This group also provides
a safe place for teens to share struggles, successes and questions that
they are facing in their lives as a Catholic. Some of the areas we focus
on in this group include instruction in basic Catholic apologetics
(answering tough questions about Catholicism), understanding and living
Catholic social justice teaching, theology of the body (chastity) and
developing a deeper prayer life (including praying for and discerning
